Although I've seen a number of Fall plumage birds in the area, this might be the first Spring male I've seen in my yard. Wasn't expecting to see this today.
This White-throat was loving the tops of the plants in the foreground. He stripped the tops of several while I watched and it seems he had been at it before I saw him this time.
It seems like the Cedar Waxwings become a lot more noticeable each season once the apple blossoms come into bloom. Obviously a favorite food of theirs.
