Red-bellied Woodpecker redux

This bird has been fairly regular in my yard for the last couple months but lately
has been disappearing for longer periods. This was the first time I had seen her
for a week or more. Feb. 10 East Jordan.

Dovekie

I'm not sure if these birds have little fear of humans or just poor eyesight
since I was able to watch at close range for a fairly long time. The water
was very clear and shallow so I was able to watch it underwater for a
little while but would always lose it before it resurfaced. Feb. 9.

Iceland Gull

There seems to be a lot of Iceland Gulls around this winter. This one is
a juvenile - mostly white - probably first winter. Feb. 2, Lockeport.

This one is from Feb. 23rd. Also in Lockeport.
