I was excited enough when this bird landed in front of me and doubly excited when I saw what it
had in it's beak. This is the first time I've seen one with two fish. He had trouble handling them both
and dropped one at one point. In the final picture he's tossing it to get a better grip.

I heard this bird calling and was looking up thinking it was in the air which is where I normally
see them. When I couldn't find it I had the thought I might find it on a branch since I had read
they sometimes perch like this. I was lucky to find it since they blend so well into their
surroundings. June 20, East Jordan.
It's not always easy to get clear shots of these birds once the trees are fully leaved out. At least
the vireos are a little less energetic than the warblers increasing the chances of a sharp image.

This is my first year putting out a hummingbird feeder. I hoped they would find it in a week or two.
It actually took about 5 minutes from the time I first set it out. Now I have at least four birds.
This is my first decent shot of a Swainson's Thrush. I've taken lots of photographs of Hermit Thrushes
but these guys are a little harder to find in these parts. June 8, East Ragged Island.
