 I guess there are a lot of eels at this location. This is at the same spot as the previous post, and one of these shots was taken on the same day.

 I haven't posted for a while so with it still being Winter I'll resume for now with some Wintertime images.

Stilt Sandpipers

 A couple of Stilt Sandpipers from late July. I was surprised to look up from reviewing my images on the back of my camera to see these two. Just as surprised awhile later to look up and see they were gone. I don't get to view this species often and have never seen two adults at the same time in what may be close to full breeding plumage.

Wood Ducks - Drake and Hen

 I have just started taking photos of Wood Ducks again in late Summer and will probably continue into Fall if the opportunity presents itself. So far most birds have not moulted back into full plumage so I still have these shots from last Spring to show for now. 

Now That's a Worm - Black-bellied Plover

 I had to go back to the end of July for this one. The fog rolled in later in the day which ended a short afternoon of photography. I did manage a few photos before that happened including this one.

 A couple of young plovers feeding as the sun was setting. These shots are from August 8.
