Palm Warbler Portrait

 One last warbler image from this Spring. Usually this would have been one of the first photos posted since Palm Warblers are generally the first warbler species to arrive here during the Spring migration. I should probably be better at posting images when they are more current but I don't see that becoming a reality. I still have several images from last Winter to upload.

Northern Parula

I'm getting close to the end of the warbler photos I took this Spring. This male Northern Parula was in my yard in late May with a few other warblers and a Red-eyed Vireo.

                                 One of our most common warblers as the name suggests.

 Since I didn't get any shots from Brier Island this year, here are a few shots taken both before and after that trip.

Black-throated Blue Warbler

 Another day, another warbler - singing Black-throated Blue. This one's for Mark.

Black and White Warbler

 Well May is now past and May is the month where most of my focus is on photographing Warblers.  I guess I'll start it off with these shots of a couple different male Black and White Warblers.

Yellow-bellied Sapsucker Male

 In an attempt to stay somewhat current these shots were taken in late April. This bird and another male were just passing through the area. I have since discovered a nesting pair. I'm not sure when I'll be able to get back in the woods to check on them.
