Short-billed Dowitcher

 Another shorebird image from the past month or so.  Probably several more to follow including one species I don't see often.

Black-bellied Plovers

 One portrait and another image of a plover resting on a rock at high tide. The birds tend to move from one rock to the next as the tide advances until they find a spot that doesn't get swallowed by the rising tide. It helps to have long legs.

Semipalmated Plover

 I don't know how these birds are able to spot the worms they like to feed on. They obviously have great eyesight. I guess if I was that close to the ground and knew what to look for I could find them too with a little practice.

Random Tern Images

 Just some random shots of Common Terns fishing, carrying fish to a nesting site and being aggressive toward other terns and maybe a photographer.

Ruddy Turnstone in Flight

 I spent most of this day photographing Terns and Hudsonian Godwits but I also managed to get this shot which was completely unexpected.

Greater Yellowlegs

 From one of the first outings this Summer. Definitely had better luck today since it's likely there are a lot more juveniles this time of year that aren't as wary as the adults.

Swamp Sparrows - Adult and Juvenile

 I have to assume that the adult in the photo is the parent of the juvenile bird.  Shot at the same location but not at the same time.
