I was on my way home on March 30 when I noticed this bird sitting on the side of the gravel road. It didn't move for several minutes which allowed me to roll down the car window and take a few shots. These pictures were barely cropped if at all which is an indication of how close I was. By the time I moved far enough away to get the whole bird in the shot he/she dad wandered off. Little Harbour NS.
