Red-breasted Mergansers - Females and Juvenile Male

 As with most Winters, this year was another productive one photographing mergansers. I managed to get all three species and was quite successful with the smallest member of the family - the hoodies. Red-breasted were more common this year at the location I frequent although the adult males were scarce. It's more common to see those birds in the open ocean.
